Music to my ears

Chase was coughing his little head off tonight, so I went in to check on him and take him some water. I snuggled up next to him and he mumbled something I couldn't quite understand. I asked him to repeat it. He grinned a sheepish grin and said, "No." I asked, "Were you just talking in your sleep?" He again said, "No." And then, "I was gonna do an Angry Bird song." Let's go ahead and call that talking (almost singing) in his sleep. Do Angry Birds even have songs?!

I'm such a blog slacker! :P It's not because my boys no longer make me laugh, quite the contrary. I blame Facebook! :) It's just so easy to post and get instant feedback. There goes my "record" to use for the future. I plan to get better about it! Anyway...

Chase. The cool dude in the picture. He's a thinker, that one. Last night I told them they needed to get to bed early since it was "daylight savings time". Of course I had to explain that we have to set our clocks ahead an hour and we therefore lose an hour... assuring them that it would make us all extra tired in the a.m. if we didn't go to bed early. (Why is it that I'm the only one tired?! lol) Anyway, after asking multiple questions about what time it was and what time it was going to be, etc. Chase looked at me and with a mixture of interest, intrigue, and amazement asked, "So, we're time travelers?" And well... I guess we are! (Makes daylight savings sound soooo much cooler, don't you think?!)
